Here is a great at home, DIY cleaning solution that is safer and easy to do using Dawn Dish Soap!
- Mix 1 part Dawn dish soap (with de-greasing power) with 5 parts warm/hot water.
- Soak your jewelry for 10-15 minutes, then gently brush with soft-bristle brush, focusing on open areas under in the setting.
- Cover your drain and then rinse your jewelry with warm water.
- Pat dry, place on a tissue, and blow dry on high or medium until completely dry.
Blow drying removes water residue, enhancing the brilliance of diamonds or gemstones. Ensure your jewelry is in an enclosed area to prevent it from getting blown away, use a low setting for blow drying, and let the ring cool before handling.
